Default Design the Festival's official T-shirt
This year's contest to design the official Festival T-shirt is now open. And, as it's the 40th Anniversary Festival, it's a big one!

The competition will be judged by Michael Eavis. The winner will not only have the pleasure of seeing their design stamped across the chests of thousands, but will also receive two tickets to this year's Festival and a cheque for £1,000.

The competition deadline is May 1. Send your entries as hard copy to Glastonbury T-shirt Competition, Q, Mappin House, 4 Winsley Street, London W1W 8HF.

The winner will be contacted by phone or email (so include your details) and their winning design published in the Q Glastonbury Daily newspaper. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Head over to www.Qthemusic.com for full Terms & Conditions. The 2009 winner is pictured above.

Default Glastonbury T-Shirt design 2010
Well I have entered, not that I am overly happy with what I have sent. I could designed it about 30 times over and I am sure that I still wouldn't be happy. Well, fingers crossed that I might win otherwise I'm going on my own... eeeek!

Has anyone else entered? Did you find it hard, what was your inspriation?

Wondering has anyone heard anything yet about this competition, I really want to know what the winning design is. Also, would like to see what people have submitted, anyone feeling brave and want to share their creative genius?

It's driving me mad too, I guess that the winner has been chosen already, we will just have to bite or finger nails some more this week!

I would post mine up if i could work out how to do it (bit of a newbie to forums!). x

Actually probably for the best, could go against the terms and conditions or something..

I was looking at the comments people put on forums last year and they don't tell anyone apart from the winner that the winner has been picked... ridiculous!

I love that! Have you won? Can we buy these tee-shirts when we are at Glastonbury?

Thanks very much!

Well, I've had no notification so presumably not! I am sorry to say that this t-shirt will never see the light of day.

I do know there's a nice T-shirt with a design by Peter Blake being "Given out" by the national trust at the festival though. Not sure whether that means for free or not really but either way think i'll be buying one.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you could just quickly print off a few limited editions and sell them at a huge cost on your own stall! (not quite the Glastonbury spirit I know).
Have a greeat Festival. Iam first timer and soooo excited! Going early Thursday.

Haha maaaybe! Tomorrow would undoubtedly be a stressful day if I were to sort out a stall and t-shirts though. Otherwise, I'm sure the Eavis' picked a great one.

Yeah, I'm getting a train and bus tomorrow afternoon and It's gonna take a long, long time. I'm sure you'll have a great time, It's almost impossible not to!
