Aldi, for all the above. They do cheap spirits, my personal favourite being Austins which is imitation Pimms, £5! Vodka and gin are good there too, don't know about beer or cider as I'm quite fussy about that stuff. They do boxes of wine too.

The two areas are not separate.... the security fence runs around the outside of the camping areas... the only things outside are the real world, the car park and the camper vans. Once you have your booze at your tent you can carry it anywhere....

That's beautiful! Any festival I've been to before have the camping part separated from the festival part and you have to queue each time to move between them. This means that all the beer tents are inside the festival part and are crazy expensive.
What then separates people from camping in the festival area??

Just been looking on tesco website, just to check out deals before we purchase the booze tmrw....and they have loads of great deals on spirits starting tomorrow, a litre of vodka for 15 quid, decent 70cl rum for 14 quid, and other amazing deals on other brands too, but thery.re the cheapest ones I saw for the amount, there are good deals on more expensive stuff like Smirnoff etc, which are still a good buy, but its worth a look!

other than that i am just taking some mixers and a bottle of belfast champagne (buckfast)
we wanna pick up some quality cider in cider country (brothers) and it'll be cider by day spirits by night
we both smoke ... so its roll up cigs at the tent and packets of cigs while on our journeys !

The thing is the festivals you have been to before are probably commercial enterprises whose soul reason for existence is to fleece the punters for every last penny. Glastonbury is very VERY different in that respect. http://www.glastoearth.com/the-faq

I stocked up on booze today - went to ASDA and bought 3 wine cubes - 2.35 litres in each one, tenner each! Which I thought was more than reasonable. And a crate of Budweiser which was a tenner.
Two of the three wine boxes have been de-boxed and are currently in the freezer... the plan is that they will gradually defrost over the festival and ill have nice cold wine to drink - thanks to Stinky for this idea!
3 DAYS!!!
