Default Changes...
I noticed a few more subtle changes at this year's festival :
- The big Glastonbury billboard near the John Peel tent was missing this year
- No wooden dragon in the up by the Stone Circle
- Joe Bananas was gone or renamed (there was a camping shop at the spot)
- Those shops that sell all sorts of bits and pieces (rizla, biscuits, toilet roll, etc) that have had the same signs since I first went looked quite different this year

Anyone else note other similar changes this year?

The free cotton bags you get as you go in don't have dates on them!

One of the things I love about Glastonbury is how it slowly but surely changes each year. I love the fact that it is a temporary town that only exists for a few days a year but that I saw signs this year saying "We have moved around the corner, next to the Hog Roast stall".

One of my fellow citizens at the Table of Truth asked me if I'd noticed huge changes over the years I've been going, but I had to reply that no, I hadn't! It's like watching a person get older. You don't notice any change until you look at an old photo. The first time I went there was one stage in one field with a cider bus at the side. This year there was a little more than that, but I've never noticed a big change, just lots of small, subtle changes that have led to it being what it is now.

Looking forward to seeing what shape it all is in 2013!

Err nope. Both were still there. Joe Bananas only disappeared in the run up to this year's festival and were replaced by Cosy Camper. I also read something recently about the wooden dragon being removed and rebuilt somewhere in Cornwall but don't take that as gospel.
