Default CAMPERVAN SPACES
Hi

I have been attending Glastonbury for a number of years now and had my honeymoon there last year! We normally camp however this year have decided to take a Motorhome (it is our first anniversary after all!)

I have just spotted on the web site that the maximum pitch space for a Motorhome is 7m and we have just realised that the one we have hired is 7.2m long!
Im now in a state of panic that the 6 of us going will not be able to enter the field if we only have one ticket and although we are only slightly over I would just like to see if anyone has any previous experience of this and how are the security etc likely to be if we are 0.2m over the allowance? do they actually measure the vehciles?

Many thanks for your help!

They're not going to turn you away for being 20cm over the limit.

Six people on your anniversary? Better tell the others to bring tents

We had a 7.2m one last year. As newbies we bought two spaces just in case, but no one checked or noticed that we where just over the limit of length.

GlastWatch makes a good point as well we had 4 in a six berth van and it was tight for space. This year 6 of us are gonig in a six berth again and taking two tents - a couple of us will sleep in the tents so that there is some space....

We are doing the same and taking a small tent . We had 4 this year in a six berth which was ok but next year will have 5 or 6.
