Biggest 'car' allowed in carparks?

Hi there folks, long time browser first time poster. Second Glasto and cannot wait obv

There are a fair few of us heading down and a lot of camping gear; as such we are concerned about the lack of boot space in our cars.

Are minivans allowed in the carparks? Or tranist type size vans?

I took a tranny V in 05. We just parked in the normal car park if I remember rightly. Great set of wheels to use, as you can sling a whole lotta cans in the back like!

we took a large transit with us last year. three in the front 5 in the back lol. Got in fine though we did get sum funny looks from stewarts wen they opened the back door and encountered a cloud of funny smellin smoke 5 pissed half naked blokes and a bunch of glass bottles rollin out the back. They actually take the vans to the front of the car park so ur close to gate D if that the side you come in on. It is annoyin tho cos the vans are kept all together nd they look the same! lol

We have a Vito, although didn't take it last year, but I do remember seeing larger vehicles in a separate area, closer to the entrance!

No problems taking vans into the carparks. You just aren't allowed to sleep in them (apart from Tuesday night). Also beware that security and police take a lot more interest in searching vans than they do ordinary cars.

Thanks for the info. Might well rent a 15 seater to fit 7 of us plus all the gear rather than taking 2 or 3 cards down.
