Default Arrival of the Muck Boots!!
I'm beginning to wonder about myself, seriously, how anyone can get so excited at the arrival of a pair of muck boots (considering their purpose!) I don't know.

Having been given recommendations and in light of the not very positive weather forecasts myself and Mr Bee have invested in a pair of the above and I can safely say I have never tried on a more comfy pair of wellies in my life. Having a very high instep usually causes all sorts of problems with wellies for me but hopefully these will solve the problems.

This will ensure dry, sunny weather throughout the festival and I hope not to give a report on whether, in fact, they were comfortable with prolonged wear
Not too sure about dancing around in them though I suppose I won't be the only one if they are needed, lol!

MrsBee-Can't see a link-probably me being thick

Making do with the old workboots as they are covered in dried mud already and i have the feeling they will be getting a fresh coating in 7 days time

Ooops, silly me, definitely not you being thick. They are quite pricey but hopefully will be worth it and will last (especially if it doesn't rain). Unfortunately I don't have any work boots, they'd look a bit funny doing the hoovering or sitting at a desk

These are what I'm talking about (if I get it right this time!!)

Wow! Posh Wellies!!!

I'm taking my £10 millets wellies from Glasto 2009. They were the 2nd pair I brought at the festival. My 1st pair got stolen as I showered and I didnt fancy wearing the muddy boots left behind for me................

Where's their Glasto spirit? How rude.

Wow, that was mean

I will be guarding mine with my life but being in a caravan I can lock them in the boot box for safekeeping if necessary I would love to be able to fit into a pair of ordinary wellies but unfortunately I either can't get them on at all, they squash my feet like mad across the arch of the foot. or they're 2 sizes too big and flop about and are hard to walk in! As I say, hopefully they will not be required but I'm going to a few other festivals this year and I have a feeling I'm going to need them at some point so hopefully they will be a good investment.

Now that is pessimistic, lol! I'm sure that boilersuit could be customised to look pretty cool if necessary

Hmmmm, I have a daughter like that, lol, unfortunately I can't get away with it

I feel I should customise them somehow but not sure what I could do that wouldn't ruin them (what with the soft bit at the top).
