Default Anyone trying for re-sale tickets?
Hi all!

Long-time lurker, new poster!

Just wondering how many other people were planning on trying for tickets in the resale next week?

I've been to the last 9 Glasto's and was gutted when the tickets went on sale whilst we were on honeymoon! So we're going to attempt to get tickets in the resale... but don't fancy our chances much

I thought exactly the same last year, when I was away for the original sale! I think your best bet is to just get as many people as possible online trying for you! I managed to get one after roping 5 people in! Persistence and you will find a way to get one :P

Also hi all, short time lurker, first time poster.

I'm also trying for re-sale tickets (just 2!). Will be my first ever Glastonbury if I get any but I've watched the TV coverage longingly for many years. Have everything crossed for Sunday

Good luck guys!

I would offer to help, but I have work on a Sunday at 12:30. When they went on sale I sat from 9-12 refreshing that damn page. It got to about 5 minutes before I had to leave for work and I got through. I've never been so happy and excited at work before in my life xD I was just sat there with a massive grin on my face haha.

I'm sure with persistence and enough help you'll get tickets! Rope in the family and friends to help you!

At least we're not the only ones then!

We're going to rope in as many people as possible (although not sure how many people are going to want to give up their Sunday morning for us!) and then go for the trusted old laptop-and-two-phones procedure and hope for the best!

Best of luck everyone!

Hello.
Also long time lurker, first time poster. (feel the need to tell you all)

Have had a black cloud hanging over me since original sale in October, when I failed to get any tickets. Was gearing up for re-sale, when on last sunday I found out I'd been picked out of a draw I'd entered for chance to buy one of forty pairs of tickets. Bought two today. Smiling alot. Happy as a dog with two cocks.
Can't wait now.

Two of my friends are trying to get hold of tickets in the re-sale, so I have offered to lend a hand.

On original sale day I managed to get through for myself and then had to keep trying as half our group were struggling to get through - managed to get through again just before the buzzer haha.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the sale/re-sale day really exciting?

Breathed a massive sigh of relief last week when the money left my account - the only time I think i'll ever be happy to see 150odd quid leave my account

Good luck all!

Default First time queueing
Does anyone have tips on how to get through the "queue"? From everything I've read here, it seems like its all luck.

The internet connect we have here varies a lot in speed so I'm a bit worried if I'll get the chance at all... Would it help to have many tabs open refreshing themselves or would it be better off just manually refreshing one page over and over again? And what's this thing I keep reading about the "back button"?
And when it comes to the phoneline, is it be better to just hang up and call back or wait to get through?

So many questions!!!!

*fingers crossed*

Not sure about the phone as I've NEVER managed to get thru. As for the website I normally have a couple of sessions on the go and keep refreshing them - not sure if this makes a difference or not.
But I can tell you that See tickets website ALWAYS comes up earlier than they say the sale starts (typically 5 - 10 mins early) so be prepared for that. And of course the more people you have trying get thru for you, the better the chance.
After that its a lottery. There may well be hundreds of thousands chasing those 10,000 tickets. Good Luck.

It's all about Tabs have 5 tabs open on seetickets page and manually refresh don't allow seetickets site to do it as you are not in a queue in all reality. Get through every year without fail using this method.

Oh and using the phone is useless don't bother.

How did everyone do?

We managed to get through online after only 15 mins trying, which has got to be a new record for us! Really pleased.

Hope everyone else here managed too.

No luck for us I'm afraid got through to booking page, entered card details, clicked proceed and then it told us one or more of the tickets we asked for was not available Am gutted, only wanted 2. My hands were shaking putting in the details, lol, probably held me up and lost me the tickets. Am a nervous wreck now!

Oh no! That sucks Set up a tent in your living room and watch it on the telly. Or better yet, leave the country and pretend it's not happening, that's what I'd do!

This is the forth time i've tried from home and got nowhere with it, lucky for us a friend was helping and they got us tickets.

We have missed out on caravan tickets though so not sure what to do at the moment.
