Hi,

Is anyone travelling or at the festival on their own? I am a 24year old female and I have been to the festival before but always with mates.

I shall be working this year so hoping to meet a few people then but also wondering if anyone else would be interested in meeting up occasionally!

I'm going alone this year - been three times before but this is my first time on my own - I know that it is the friendliest festival around but still a bit wary of being on my own

I have always gone with my friends but they dropped out at the last minute and are now doing camp america, but i love glasto and have decided to go on my own - i know glasto is the friendliest place in the world, but it's still a scary prospect going on me own!

Went on my own last year - it's awesome and in some ways better than with loads of mates - you can drift around and just do what you want to do, see who you want to see and chat to whoever. All the people that I chatted to last year and mentioned that I was on my own were so friendly. Just enjoy. Am going with a mate this year, but have told him that there will be times when we can just disappear off whenever we want, and there may be times when we actually meet back up - but no worries.

I'm going it alone this year. Hadn't planned it this way, my brothers messed up their registration!. Still i'm looking forward to it. Ive been twice before and found everyone to be dead friendly. I'd be up for meeting up with people off here so long as they're not total mentalists haha

I'm only 16, it was gonna be my first Glastonbury but my friend pulled out...

I would still like to go but my parents are worried about it... anybody have any advice?

I would say go - if you're worried about camping on your own look up the #twisto guys on Twitter and facebook - I noticed that some of the younger teenage members of the group are planning to camp together so might be worth seeing if you can camp with them.

Yup, I'm going alone too because mates pulled out at the last moment. Would be good to meet up. Am on Facebook as dhanakane and same on Twitter. I've heard that Penard's gets full up quite quickly from past festival goers. So if anyone's been before then well up for suggestions on where to camp. Maybe we can all congregate in the same field?

It's going to be really good craic I reckon!

May was the deadline for cancelling tickets this year, so there was speculation that cancelled tickets would be put back on the market, but obviously there weren't enough to warrant another resale.

I'm going on my own aswell, Driving down on my tod from Cheshire.
Think I'll be going down Tuesday, and sleeping in the car until the gates open

I'm more than happy to give anyone a lift there and back. I only have 1 seat though, and they're both Bucket seats..So prepare to have a numb bum.

Hi, I'm probably gonna be alone for the first day

(scary aghh haha) my friend has conveniently got an a level exam in the afternoon on friday! and I CANNOT miss mumford and sons. So, if anyone happens to be alone on Friday & wants to join me at the front with mumford and sons/Fleet Foxes then try to catch Morrissey you would be more than welcome (practically begging haha)

Im coming down on my own from Australia, and turns out none of my English friends ended up getting tickets (I was lucky enough!)
So not only am I in a foreign country (i mean, not that foreign) but I am by myself! I am camping in Myhab and even have a spot in my tent (2 person tent, just me)

Hey I'll be going alone as well. I'm 24, female, living in london. I moved here from Toronto just over a year ago and it'll be my first time at Glastonbury.

I got the coach package for a really late bus on the Thursday so I'm a bit concerned about setting up camp so late/not knowing anyone/where I'm going!

Perhaps we can get a group of us together from the forum.

Thinking maybe if we can arrange a meeting point on weds and thurs for loners, so we can get you all set up together then no one will be camped alone.
Im happy to dress like a idiot so you can see me, and help find a place for you all to camp.
So no one is camped alone. (harder to find your tent)
Just ideas. There is a meet up thurs at 8 at the bar, but that leaves weds and thurs day free to meet, get camped and make friends with other loners.
