I'm getting one of the 'official' coaches down from Nottingham on Wednesday morning, 9.30am, and was wondering if anyone else from here is doing the same...??
And anyone any idea what time that'll get me on site? It sounds like I'll get faster access due to avoiding car parking queues!?

All depends on the traffic, although as you say once you're there you might avoid the car park queues. Maybe 4 - 5 hours from Nottingham at a guess. Last year there were big traffic problems due in no small part to accidents on both the M4 & M5 and a lot of people had big waits. This year campervans can get into their fields on the Tuesday and car parks with no facilities will be open Tuesday evening. This might alleviate things a bit for Wednesday.
Hey, yea me and three of my friends are going. Me and my boyfriend went last year by coach but travelled from sheffield. We got on our coach 10am wed morning, we arrived on site at 2:30am thurs morning. It may be different this year, we've all got bets on how long it will take us. My advice is bring some caffine because it's impossible to sleep, bring a book, bring something. Otherwise it will be hell. But once you get there its all worth it just be prepared....

Oh man!!!! Nevermind eh, i guess it'll be worth the wait. Biggest annoyance is going to be missing the world cup game, but my wife (who's getting there v.early on Wed) may have a different view to that seeing as she'll be left alone to put tent up!!
ok, so ive just had the most stressful 3 hours of my life locating my actual ticket and now i find out its being held by some random upon a bus i dont remember i booked... WHERE DO I GET LE BUS FROM? nottingham granted. but WHERE? it is a big city and i am not the brightest spark.
Anyone else going on coach from Nottingham?
