Default Any chance of Massive Attack?
I just saw them in Adelaide, South Australia, absolutely brilliant!!!

They are playing a few festivals in Europe in June/July and have a gap from the 24th of June till the 1st of July.

I'm coming over for Glasto and think it would be amazing to see them in that setting.

Any thoughts?

They headlined the Other Stage a couple of years ago, so it's unlikely but not impossible that they will return this year.
With Orbital headlining the Other Stage on Sunday, I doubt they'd have an act such as Massive Attack do the same on Fri or Sat, so I imagine they'd play near the top on the Pyramid if they were to play.

I have to say, I hope not. I paid £33 to see them in september at Brixton and they were lifeless, dull, boring etc. I was extremely disappointed. The lighting meant that none of the members could be seen for a haze of 'background' lighting that came up to the front of the stage and they were just dull. Even teardrop was dull, the constant build up throughout the recording didn't happen and there was no life to it. Unfinished symphony was pretty good though, but £33 for one good song? I expected a lot better than that for the money I paid.

Though, I'm fully aware that if they were to be announced there are other bands I could go see. But as GW says, if they were to play, they'd be high up on pyramid, and I rather see someone that's gonna get the crowd going and not bore them.

I have to agree with the above. At their Newcastle gig on that same tour half the audience were talking to each other throughout, cos they were bored - not something that I advocate at any gig, but having been to a lots of Academy size gigs last year that was the most expensive and the least enjoyable.
On the positive side the stomach churning bass was tremendous !

It looks like they may be playing after all.
