If you do take it make sure you put it in a lock up before you crash out. A mate took a high quality DSLR camera last year and fell asleep with it out side his tent with it wrapped round his neck and round his hands woke up with just the strap. £700 gone....this was during the day as well !!!!!

Moral if you don't wanna loose it lock it up in lockers or don't bring it.
