Default All trained up with nowhere to go ...
Did my Dance Village steward training at the weekend and now I can't wait!! Lots of familiar friendly faces who do it every year, great to see them again. And quite a few Glastonbury virgins too - we promised to be gentle with them and assured them they would enjoy it!

Training was, as usual, a good mixture of the serious and the fun; even those of us who've seen and heard it all before enjoyed it and the 3 hours flew by. Put some Dance music on really loud in the car on the way home - not usually the stuff I listen to but I was in the mood - it sounded great and made me look forward to the festival even more. June will soon be here ...

Sounds fantastic: when I saw your header, though, I thought something 'orrible had gone wrong and you'd done the training but weren't going to be able to make the fest....

I just meant I was all ready for the festival several months too early! Even after about 12 Glastos, the sense of anticipation is just as strong as ever.

Yeah, glad to see that. I've not made it to 12 yet - this one will be my sixth (two with my daughter in 1999/2000, two working 2007/8, and this year and last year as a punter), but I hope I still get the antici

....pation!

(reasonably good chance I will: I've been doing the Beltane thing in Edinburgh for over a decade and the start of the run-up to that is pretty fantastic each and every time)
