Bit of a random question but at the other stage do they have the barriers that separate the two sections of the crowd because i was thinking i could lean against that seeing as know one could push me from behind and then it would save me having to stand 10 miles back, anyone know?

you could stand in front of the sound stage or disabled viewing platform

It says the disabled facilities are only for permanently disabled people :S but what is this sound stage you speak of?

It's a sort of tent thing that's in the middle of the field where they control the sound and lights and shiz, like this:

See there's like a tent thing in the middle of the field with a big screen? That's yer sound stage, stand in front of that and there'll be a barrier to lean against, or you could stand IN FRONT of the disabled stand (not on it!)

I probably shouldn't say this but I like my stewards to show a bit of common sense and sympathy. So, provided the disabled platform isn't already full, I'd try and blag my way on to it if I were you. I tell my stewards to let 'obviously inconvenienced' people on to the disabled platform in East Dance provided they agree to get off if permanently disabled people turn up and need the space. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me but some stewards are less accommodating. Worth a try though I'd say, just ask politely and you may be lucky.
