It is a measure of my pre-Glastonbury excitement that when I read about the fence going up while I was on my lunch break at work, I immediately went to the BBC Webcam to have a look...

And then remembered I work at night...

Curse the BBC and their lack of night-vision cameras when we need them...

the guy who is helping build the wall is selling his second ticket - go to the link for Wicked Faerie above and you will see the details.

yes I know there is a small resale but this will be a ticket with no image on it { which is common for some of the crew } so a far better bet than buying a ticket in the hope that you will pass the face check.

I have to confess that I preferred the Pyramid when it was facing up the hill. { yes I know the reason why it was shifted but still its never looked right when it was shifted }

We are now nearly into June so not long to go now.

it didn't get moved, one burnt down, so they built another in a slightly different place.

Ok cheers, i was aware that one had burnt down, i just got the impression that there had been a planned move, and i guess it was rotated a bit as that gives more people the chance to see who are not on the hilly side. i agree that it would be great if it faced directly up the hill but the festival is too big for that now. Thanks again

Part of reason it faces the direction it does is because it now lines up perfectly with Glastonbury Tor.

its not just in a different place - its not facing up the hill any longer .

I was told it was for Health and safety reasons why it was twisted to allow for more people by someone who works for GFL.

its like lots to do with Glastonbury its being designed for the modern world -

its just a shame as it looked fine { which ever pyramid was there - I have seen lots } where it used to be and the extra elevation provided by the hill made it a perfect spot - anyone who saw the Cure play when there was a Thunderstorm behind them will know what I am on about - if they had played on the current stage it would have been missed.

people who are not into crowds could sit up the hill and it was such a great sight.
